Brian has been a personal trainer since 2001, and part of the health and fitness industry since 1997. A collegiate distance runner in both cross country and track, Brian now designs running programs for runners and walkers at half marathon and marathon distances. He has coached more than 500 individuals of all ability levels, from novice to collegiate and Olympic athletes.
In 2004, he became a part of the first Muscle Activation Techniques Internship in the Chicagoland area and was certified as a MAT Specialist in June of 2005. He continues his education with Master Level MAT courses, and also is a student of the Resistance Training Specialist program in Oklahoma City.
Brian began his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a focus on Exercise Physiology and Community Health.
